Da 5 Bloods
By Alexandra
"Da 5 Bloods" shows four African American veterans returning to Vietnam to search for a large quantity of gold buried during the war.
Directed and co-written by Spike Lee, the film explores themes of post-traumatic stress disorder, as it mixes art with archival videos showing snippets of footage from Vietnam or President Nixon's resignation.
The trailer is masterfully edited and the soundtrack (“Time Has Come Today,” The Chambers Brothers), matches the tone perfectly.
"Da 5 Bloods" is out on Netflix on 12 June.
Infamous
By Christiana
Bella Thorne and Jake Manley are supposedly the modern-day Bonnie and Clyde in the latest trailer for "Infamous".

They rob bank and post everything on social media in order to increase their popularity, so this pretty much seems like a "Dare" remake that only focuses on robberies.

Not sure I am ever going to watch it, but for what it`s worth - coming soon.
The Last Days of American Crime
By Alexandra
Based on the graphic novel by Rick Remender and Greg Tocchini, "The Last Days of American Crime" explores an American scenery where crimes are the norm and rule the streets, and the government's plan to stop all people from committing illegal acts by broadcasting what looks like a high-pitched signal.
Before the signal is set to become the norm, two men and one woman (Édgar Ramírez, Michael Pitt and Anna Brewster) set out to carry a 30 million-dollar robbery.
The film is out on Netflix (they're on a roll!) on 5 June.

Are you going to watch the final season on June 5th? I don`t know about this one, but let`s see if it tops the third season, which seemed to be equally as pointless as the fourth one.

The Great
By Alexandra
From the writer of "The Favourite" comes another historical (sort of) and satirical production.
"The Great" tells the story of Catherine the Great (Elle Fanning), who arrives in Russia to marry Emperor Peter (Nicholas Hoult). Intelligent and exuberant, she soon realises that her role in the society is diminished, even as empress, and she must find a way to right an outdated and sometimes outright backwards way of thinking. She has to be cunning and clever to overthrow her husband and govern Russia with a fresh, stronger hand. Small note: Catherine supported vaccination throughout the Russian empire.
The miniseries premieres on Hulu on 15 May 2020.

Black Widow
By Alexandra
The latest "Black Widow" trailer shows Natasha reunited with her training family and more determined than ever to end the KGB programme that created her, so as to stop them from training other agents and twisting their lives.
She is shown fighting the Taskmaster, who controls the Red Room- where the most severe training takes place, and her "sister" fighting a SWAT team. The bit of the sountrack we can hear is awesome and I'm really really hoping for a Hawkeye cameo (and maybe some Nick Fury, too?).

Soul
By Alexandra
This is a great follow-up to the first trailer! Joe Gardner tries to get out of the soul current and befriends a much younger soul than his, finds out they cannot smell or eat or perceive anything a physical body would.
It seems like Joe spent a while in the soul world, but when he looks down, his body is still in the hospital with a medical team around him...so he tries to make a jump for it and his new little soul friend falls with him.
Favourite quote from the trailer: "Is all this living worth dying for?"

Trolls: World Tour
By Christiana
"Trolls: World Tour" seems like the type of film that is fun to watch once you have finished the other films on your list and decide it`s time to see an animated sing-off.

Their ancestors created 6 strings, "each for a different type of music", and they must unite to stop the evil troll who plans to turn the world rock. In their attempt to save the other music genres, the film features tiny colourful trolls singing all-time favourites.

With Justin Timberlake once again on the soundtrack, "Trolls: World Tour" hits theaters in April.
Elite: Season 3
By Christiana
Following the tense ending of the second season, the third instalment of the famous teen show is back better than ever. Is it going to provide answers to all of our questions and is this going to be the last season?
The newest trailer shows a dramatic turn of events and an unfortunate ending for Polo. Everyone is a suspect and most of them have valid reasons, but do you think they're capable of murder? I have a few guesses and I am impatiently waiting for the third season of "Élite".

Greyhound
By Christiana
With a screenplay surprisingly written by Tom Hanks and directed by Aaron Schneider (Academy Award winning live-action short "Two Soldiers", "Get Low"), "Greyhound" contributes to the enormous collection of World War 2 pieces created until this very moment.
